After recording the « Orbital Solo » of the double bass player Benoit Cancoin on May 22 2018 we were joined by the Birgit Ulher, trumpet player in a truly unconventional sense. The sounds she creates playing her instrument while holding metal foil to the bell reminds me of very intricate percussion work, like a super gentle rhythm using snare wires.
