In 2014 Andrew received the Goldener Bobby<\/a>, first prize in the category \u201cclassical \/ instrumental music\u201d for his production of the second CD of Quatuor Brac<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis recording mesmerizes through the vividness of its sound, the naturalness of the timbres, the absolutely realistic imaging of the instruments in the stereo panorama.

Apart from the breathtaking directness of the sonic textures, it is fascinating to perceive the artists’ perfection, free from any disturbances. The enthralling sound event clearly is the result of a deliberate configuration by the recordist. Not only did he fulfill his function as a mediator in an ideal fashion, but also skillfully created an auditory perspective that transcends the sonic boundaries of the reception of a live event in the sense of the music, creating a level of music perception only realizable by a true master of his craft.\u201d

2014 erhielt Andrew den Goldenen Bobby<\/a>, erster Preis in der Kategorie \u201eKlassik \/ Instrumentalmusik\u201c f\u00fcr seine Produktion der zweiten CD des Quatuor Brac<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201eBei dieser Aufnahme fasziniert die Plastizit\u00e4t des Klanges, die Nat\u00fcrlichkeit der Klangfarben, die absolut realistische Abbildung der Instrumente im Stereopanorama.

Neben der atemberaubenden Direktheit des erlebbaren Klanggeschehens fasziniert die perfekt wirkende Spielleistung der Interpreten, die frei von St\u00f6rungen des Musizierens realisiert wurde. Das packende Klanggeschehen ist ohrenscheinlich ein Resultat der bewussten Gestaltung des Tonmeisters, der damit nicht nur seine Funktion als medialer \u00dcbertrager von Musik idealtypisch erf\u00fcllt hat, sondern dar\u00fcber hinausgehend durch tonmeisterliche Mittel eine Klangperspektive erm\u00f6glicht, die die klanglichen Begrenzungen der Musikrezeption unter Livebedingungen im Sinne der Musik transzendiert in eine nur tonmeisterlich realisierbare Ebene der Musikwahrnehmung.\u201c
